Checks must be made out to “Cure SMA” and if you receive a check payable to your team, please write “Cure SMA” above your team’s name. If you receive a check made to you, please endorse the check payable to “Cure SMA.”
Check donations can be mailed to: Cure SMA, 925 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Please accompany the donation with a message to denote which participant, event, and team you’d like your donation(s) credited toward (Jane Doe, 2025 Northern California Walk-n-Roll, Team Doe).
Please note: We process mailed donations as efficiently as possible, but it may take up to 4 weeks for processing during peak event periods. If more than 4 weeks have passed and your donation(s) have not been credited, please contact us at fundraising@curesma.org
To create an efficient and secure event, we strive to keep our Walk-n-Roll event cash/check-free. We strongly encourage all donations to be made digitally at Walk-n-Roll. We will have a QR code onsite to accept credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets. However, we understand that some donors may prefer to pay with cash or check.
If you choose to donate using cash or check on event day, please be aware that these donations may take longer to process and will not be reflected in real-time on your fundraising page.
Everyone who makes an online donation will receive an email confirmation receipt for tax purposes. Donors who give $250 or more will receive a thank you letter as an additional receipt by mail.
