The Cure SMA Walk for Graham is ready for our 6th annual event, and we hope you will join us! Register today to bring your family and friends out to Coxhall Gardens on August 5th for an evening of celebration and hope with our community.
The Walk for Graham was started in 2017 to honor a milestone 2nd birthday for Graham Vollmer. With a diagnosis of SMA type 1, medical professionals did not believe he would live to see this birthday. However, breakthroughs in research for treatment options made it possible for Graham not only to celebrate that 2nd birthday, but live and thrive well beyond it. The Walk for Graham has evolved to celebrate all Indiana SMA families who are fighting every day to see progress made in the search for a cure. This event is a way to honor all SMA individuals, their families, and raise support and awareness for the national Cure SMA organization.
Registration guarantees entrance to the event along with all food and drinks for the evening. There will be hours of entertainment for the whole family with a kid’s zone filled with games, a silent auction, raffle, music, photo booth, and so much more. You will also receive an event goodie bag and an exclusive event t-shirt. We will have a brief opening ceremony kicking off a 1 mile walk around the beautiful grounds of Coxhall Gardens. This walk represents a community coming together to support Graham, Indiana SMA families, and our fight for a cure.
Register as an individual, create a team, or become a family sponsor… and if you can’t make the event we hope you will consider a virtual participation or a donation to show your support!
